Jarad Higgins, known professionally as Juice WRLD, was a musician born in 1998 in Calumet Park. Influenced by rock music and Chicago drill, he began his music career under the moniker Juice TheKidd before releasing his debut EP Juice WRLD 999 in 2017. His debut album, Goodbye & Good Riddance, featuring hits like "Lucid Dreams (Forget Me)" and "All Girls Are the Same," peaked at number 15 on the Billboard 200 in May 2018. Higgins continued his success with his sophomore album, A Death Race for Love, which reached number one on the Billboard 200 in 2019.
Tragically, on December 8, 2019, Juice WRLD passed away at the age of 21 after suffering a medical emergency at Chicago's Midway International Airport. Despite his untimely death, posthumous releases like Legends Never Die (2020) and Fighting Demons (2021) continued to top the charts. His final studio album, The Party Never Ends, released in November 2024, debuted at number four on the Billboard charts and featured collaborations with notable artists such as Eminem, Fall Out Boy, and Nicki Minaj.
