KATSEYE is a global girl group formed through KPOP artist development methods, comprised of six members from diverse backgrounds: Daniela (USA), Lara (USA), Manon (Switzerland), Megan (USA), Sophia (Philippines), and Yoonchae (South Korea). Selected from 120,000 submissions, the group emerged from The Debut: Dream Academy, a program by HYBE and Geffen Records, and gained recognition through a 2023 audition program broadcasted on various platforms.
Based in Los Angeles, KATSEYE released their debut EP, SIS (Soft Is Strong), on August 16. Their journey to formation is documented in a Netflix series premiering on August 21, showcasing the development of the group and the unique training program by HYBE and Geffen Records. Directed by Nadia Hallgren and produced by HYBE, Interscope Films, and Boardwalk Pictures, the series offers an inside look at the path to international success for KATSEYE.
