KAYTRANADA

Kaytranada, a Montreal-raised producer, gained recognition in the early 2010s for his diverse range of remixes and music styles, blending J Dilla-inspired hip-hop beats with house grooves. His debut album, 99.9%, won the 2016 Polaris Music Prize and the 2017 Juno Award for Electronic Album of the Year, followed by his sophomore release, Bubba, after signing with major-label RCA.

Collaborating with a variety of artists such as Anderson .Paak, Kendrick Lamar, and Alicia Keys, Kaytranada's work on 99.9% featured guest appearances from Phonte, Craig David, and others. Bubba, his second album, released in December, earned him two Grammy awards at the 2021 ceremony, with contributions from Pharrell, Kali Uchis, and Masego.
