Kenshi Yonezu, known for his work as a musician and illustrator, began his career by sharing original songs on Niconico under the alias "Hachi" in 2009 before transitioning to using his real name in 2012. His 2018 release "Lemon" achieved significant success, topping charts for consecutive years. In 2020, his 5th album "STRAY SHEEP" surpassed 2 million in sales and dominated annual rankings, securing 46 top titles. Continuing his momentum, Yonezu contributed "Chikyugi - Spinning Globe" as the theme song for the Academy Award-winning animated film "The Boy and the Heron" in 2023. The following year, he released his 6th album "LOST CORNER," featuring tracks like "さよーならまたいつか!" for the NHK drama "虎に翼" and "がらくた" for the film "ラストマイル."
