Since 2000, the group Turma do "SÓ UM PAGODE" has been part of the samba scene in São Paulo, Brazil. Originally planning to mark their 20th anniversary with an audiovisual recording in 2020, the group adjusted their plans due to the pandemic and successfully carried out a live recording project titled "Turma no quintal" in October 2020, celebrating their two decades in the industry.
The project aimed to capture the essence of Turma do Pagode's early days, performing in intimate settings like backyard gatherings and bars in São Paulo. Led by members Leiz, Caramelo, Rubinho, Marcelinho TDP, Leandro Filé, Fabiano Art, Neni Art, and Thiago, the group curated a setlist featuring nine new songs alongside medleys of pagode hits and other musical genres, with occasional guest appearances. The live recording was presented outdoors to a limited audience at Vila dos Ingleses, São Paulo, and is set to be released in December, marking a milestone for the group.
